About The Author

Paula has been crazy about cats her whole life, growing up with Blossom, Mollie, and many others who sparked her imagination and shaped the gentle worlds she loves to create.

Paula has always been creative, even while working in very ordinary, non‑artistic jobs. Mostly self‑taught, she spent years drawing quietly in the background, developing her illustration style and dreaming of one day sharing her artwork more widely.

Blossom’s Day Trip began with a single sketch of Blossom, her childhood cat. That drawing became a GCSE Graphic Design project, then a long‑running idea she returned to over the years, adding little pieces, refining the artwork, and slowly building the story. 

As both the author and illustrator, Paula finally brought everything to life with a fresh burst of inspiration, turning a much‑loved idea into a finished book.

Now, after being part of her life for so long, Paula is delighted to share Blossom’s Day Trip with the world.
